Mental exercise

We have Gail's dad staying with us for a week. It's a great break for him and nice for Gail to have him around for a while. She worries about him endlessly as he's not been well for quite some time. He is no trouble and likes just to have someone around him.

While not fit enough to get any exercise as he gets out of breath very quickly, he does crosswords and other puzzles endlessly. This was one such session just before lunch today.

I like this (while he isn't engaged with the camera) it catches not just him doing something he likes, but it also catches his wedding-ring. Gail's mum (Enid) passed away six years in January. A couple of years ago we bought him a registration for his car for him - EN10 ALF. He loves it so much.
