Switzerland

I’ve never quite worked out the geography of Switzerland. Entering through Basel in the top left corner the idea is to emerge on the other side at the bottom right. But which pass to go over or through? This time the car nav lady took us through the St Gothard tunnel- 12 miles of single carriageway with traffic coming at you from the other direction. There I was thinking the Dartford tunnel was long. The goal is Lake Orta near Milan. It is just soooo pretty. A swim in the lake before a steak for dinner. And then a gaze across to the island in the blue hour.
