A wet morning
I was up early this morning (well 7am!) to help take the cows to their paddock. They were heading to the furtherest away paddock on the farm - it takes them about half an hour to walk there. While waiting around the two mile for them to turn up, I spied the neighbours Scottish Highlander looking at me through the fence.
We've had 22ml of heavy rain overnight, and in this photo you can see the rain drops on the seeded grass. It is 8.36am; the air temperature is 16.9 degrees C, and the ground temperature is 20 degrees C. It's fantastic grass growing weather.
