First Climb

We woke up with no plans today, church, a potter perhaps. Victoria and jasmine decided to join us for church, so that was nice. Then we went for the potter, and John & Jaden asked us if we all wanted to go climbing. For Katie's first ever time. We had an AMAZING time. She was brill. She free climbed in the boulder room, she scrambled up to a big ledge.... and then.... she did her first climb on a rope. She was brilliant. I was so so proud of her. It was a whole new strange place and she just hurled herself at the wall "I want to climb this one" again and again. She loved the huge foam floors and bounced up and down for ages. She did me so very proud. She loved being in her harness, happily let (qualified mountain leader/climbing instructor) John lead her. We loved it!! And Mummy got to climb too, lots. Its been brilliant.
