Mare Adriatico

Off to the sea today, to fulfil a promise
To WonderA, to swim in the Adriatic, an isolated stretch of the Mediterranean very close to her heart.
Should we choose the manicured, spritzy world of Lido Rose Marino or the raw, sun-bleached rocks and sands of Torre Guaceto?
We make like the lizards and lounge in the shady hollow of a sand dune, staring at the paint chart of blue bands of placid sea stretching all the way back to Montenegro.
I leave WonderA with her thoughts and do a little beach combing before we trip out into the sea and lose ourselves in it’s lapping beauty.
