Friday: Bard On The Beach

A colleague of mine is leaving for another job next week so I popped out to get her a farewell gift from 'Saje', a shop that sells lots of aromatic products, wellness smellies etc. After I'd paid, the assistant asked me very earnestly whether I wanted an energy spritz or a kale aroma. I didn't know quite what to say and just stared at her blankly.....it felt very 'Portlandia'......

It's Bard on the Beach season, the annual Shakespeare festival by the waterfront. We went to see 'The Taming of the Shrew'. It was really good, with the second half being better than the first.
