Sunday: Montague Harbour

We checked out of our hotel after breakfast and set off exploring the island.  It’s not huge but it has an amazing amount of coves, beaches and trails, each one more beautiful than the one before.  We were very excited to cross the 49th parallel at one point.  

Early afternoon we pitched our tent at the campsite - I have to say we’re getting pretty good at it now.  Our plot was just beautiful - looking out over the sea, a perfect view from bed.  

We went for a long beach walk and then read a bit back at the campsite.  For dinner, we went to the local pub, the ‘Hummingbird’ - followed that back at the campground with a campfire and some backgammon.
