Remembering

Last year Ella asked if we could have a cake on her auntie Vicky's Birthday. They children ask lots of questions about her, and why she died, and about cancer. We try to answer. We weren’t sure if it would be ok or if we’d all be too upset, but it worked, and they wanted to do it this year.

Thomas and I made the cake yesterday. We met #3 daughter at #2’s house and had cake when she got back from her relaxing weekend in a nice. B&B in Sedburgh.

We put 4 candles on it so they each had one to blow out. She would have been 48.
