Papillon

This afternoon, the Minx and I drove over to Liverpool to see the new restaurant/bar that our friend Bob has launched, this time in conjunction with another friend, Richard.

It must be very gratifying to create such a beautiful space and then sit back, with no one knowing who you are, and watch people enjoying it. The attention to detail is wonderful and you can see how care has gone into everything, not a hint of 'that'll do'.

We had a very late lunch there, tapas style, which was excellent, and then, after the Minx had left to do some taxiing around of the miniMinx, Richard joined Bob and me and we inevitably had a few beers.
