Saintes Surprises

Had to go into Saintes this morning to do some post-office stuff, followed by getting light bulbs, lamps and light fittings for the Gite and house. While Mrs SoL managed to divert herself off into the shops (no surprises there) I decided to snap this. There isn’t a boulangerie there anymore, but this reminds us there was. The extra pic is further down the little alley looking at the old church, which looks odd because it seems to be surrounded by seating for the restaurant (out of sight).
