U.S.A Holiday - Day 3
It has taken me a while to compose this Blip, normally eloquent I found myself lost for words at the beauty of the natural world that I have seen today.
Thanks to Janet and John Clare and I visited the magnificent Antelope Canyon before breakfast today. We were taken out by our Native American Indian tour guide. This lady of the Navajo Tribe was both knowledgable of her subject and proud of her heritage.
I have selected two photographs for today’s Blip but trust me when I say that they do not do the canyon justice.
We returned to the town of Page, our overnight stop, for breakfast and to pack up for the next step of our ‘road trip’.
We were heading for the Grand Canyon but travelled via the ‘Horseshoe Bend’, the Navajo Bridge, the ‘Cliff Dwellings’ and an epic off road trip that saw us take in a quick glimpse of the Grand Canyon from the North Rim.
Dinner was as the Jacobs Lake motel and an overnight stay in a log cabin.
