Hendstock Boxing Day

After very little sleep, we were all up relatively early to start the big tidy up. I got on with the traditional Hendstock breakfast and over the course of the morning, lots of people dropped in to pick up their stuff, help tidy up or just say hello. Many sausage and bacon rolls were eating and several pots of coffee drunk. Thanks to our amazing helpers, the garden was soon almost back to normal and all the cans, bottles and plastics had been sorted into bin bags.

We spent a few hours sitting in the garden and opened a couple of bottles of Prosecco. After our visitors left I had a couple of hours sleep then we picked up an Indian takeaway, had a few more drinks, looked through all the photos, videos and lovely messages and went to bed.
