Estuary in a norwester

We walked down into Redcliffs this morning, to check out the broom and tree lucerne bushes on the way. We're looking to measure the infestation level of an introduced broom biocontrol agent, and are waiting for the pods to be at the correct stage to collect.

This was taken along Beachview Road as the early morning light was shining through the clouds onto the waves, especially the breakers out beyond Sumner beach. it is raining now, so I think this will be my last shot of the day.
