A sloe day!

Terrible pun I know but it seemed apt for how today has gone so far - after a most enjoyable but rather heavy NY day birthday party, I have done very little.

I should have been up for a walk but had quite a poor night's sleep due, no doubt, to yesterday's over indulgence, and I have ironing to do but the cat is on the ironing board! (Is that the lamest excuse ever?)

This pretty little bottle of Sloe gin was made by my sister in law's partner and given to us for Christmas - looks too nice to drink - and the star is still shining out from the bedroom window awaiting Twelfth night and Epiphany on Sunday.

Oh dear looks like the cat is preparing to move!
