Friday Adventures

Backblip.
Sorry behind yet again !
Up early and off to the Puffin Pool with Anne.A lovely hare ran across the road in front of us near Munlochy. The water was just the right temperature today.
Had a quick sighting of a very cute baby pheasant on our fence.
Home to print off the accounts which ended up being more hassle as it would not print correctly and then the printer ran out of ink Arrrr ! Anyway they are with Yvonne now and then off to the County Commissioner with the cheque book and paying in book so I will not see them until mid November.
To celebrate / de stress ! we went for lunch at the Railway station in Strathpeffer.I had cheese omelette and salad , very nice.
We then went for a walk at Loch Kinellan. The sun was shining and it looked beautiful. A great walk and lots to see including baby toads, dragonfly nymphs on their way back to the water, butterflies including Scotch Argus and small tortoiseshell.
Saw a family of white throats as well :)
Sat up on the top decking later in the day and watched the Wanderer II coming in from Portsmouth. She’ll be collecting the Shearwater , D-Day boat , and towing her all the way back to Portsmouth .
