Day one - The Fringe

Back blip
We had a bit of a lay in and then went for breakfast.Took a Taxi to the bus station and then queued and queued for about an hour.So many people going to Edinburgh and with The Fringe and problems with the trains it was much worse than I’ve seen before. The time went quite quickly though and we were on our way.
We arrived in sunshine so popped our bags in a locker, just taking the things we needed for over night , and went in search for somewhere to eat. We ended up in the Sir Conan Doyle pub again.I had a good Chicken, bacon and Avocado salad.
We picked up our tickets for the events we had booked and then walked to The Royal Mile.
We stroll through different displays of shows that are on and watched some young ladies dancing. There was a gold fairy, a lady whose dress you could colour in and strange hairy monster and this puppet from a show called Hyde and Seek.I loved the interaction between the little boy and the puppet.
We eventually found the venue we needed and saw a Harry Potter musical Parody that was very funny. We has had enough time to walk down to our next venue to see Henning Wehn , a German comedian who was funny although I did not get some of it.
A cup of coffee and cake in Patisserie Valerie and then a slow train to Perth. The hotel was sooo much cheaper than in Edinburgh even with the travel costs .
Glad to get to bed at gone 1am !
