CannyScot's Day

Strong Sunshine

We went down to Edinburgh for a couple of days. Saw a one woman play about an American girl, Eleanor, who had been caught up in Berlin during WW2 before returning to America. It was told by her granddaughter, Ingrid. We saw the first part of the story earlier in the year and this was just as enthralling.

We were fortunate that the weather was so warm since rain had been forecast. In the afternoon we visited the newly refurbished Saughton Gardens, which had been featured on the recent Beechgrove Garden TV programme. They were truly beautiful.
