Stormy

Wow! That was a houli of a storm. Not so much the rain in this part of the world perhaps, as the gusts of wind. Even young branches of relatively small trees were falling victim as I found in this supermarket car park.
That was small beer to the uprooted tree I encountered earlier all but blocking the main road and which called for a local volunteer with a chainsaw to clear.
In the garden, fortunately all remained relatively calm although there was plenty of debris from overhanging oak trees, and newly acquired flower pots had to be rescued to the safety of indoors.
