Sunday: Red Arrows

Today was our big day in terms of why I’m here in Halifax. I was able to have a slightly later start but then spent the day down at the waterfront supporting our Red Arrows campaign. My favourite bit was working with kids on the VR headsets (much to my surprise, as children aren’t my forte).

Their enhanced flypast over Halifax at 2pm was absolutely amazing. There were huge crowds out for it, completely lining the waterfront. It seemed to go down really well.

We’re all really happy with the way it went. A good proportion of the team headed back to Ottawa tonight while those of us still here went out for an excellent meal at ‘The Bicycle Thief’.
