Road trip to Esquimalt... sort of

The glorious weather continues unabated here in Victoria, or Langford, or whichever of the municipalities comprising Greater Victoria we are in. And so, Gene, Iwona and Michal volunteered to take OttawackerJr off to Esquimalt for a trip to a water park. As might be expected, this received the thumbs up from OJr, and so off they went, leaving me the run of the house and a quiet stretch of time in which to write. Woo-hoo.

Didn't quite pan out that way for OJr though. Halfway through the trip he started feeling sick, then complained of a headache, then a stomach ache, then etc etc etc. So a couple of hours later, he was lying in bed, being read the Iggy Peck Architect book recommended by MacGuffin and not sure whether or not he would be able to force down a spoonful of ice cream later on in the afternoon.

Happily, a complete recovery has been made - either due to various people's ministrations or the power of Iggy Peck (or possibly ice cream suggestion...) - and he is now jumping up and down on his host's head. 

A happy day ends well.
