Mural, Colinton Tunnel, Water of Leith Path

I have taken a week off work, and the weather has gone from Summer to Autumn. The morning is pretty bad, so I spend some time decluttering.

In the afternoon, the rain goes off, so I head down to Slateford to walk along the Water of Leith to Colinton. The path is a bit muddy and slippery. At one point, a wooden bridge has been closed off, fortunately you can clamber around the obstacle the bridge passes over. Most of the route is too dark, and photos aren't very good. Eventually I pass over the Water if Leith and take Extra of Colinton Weir. The water is quite high for 'summer'. I walk up to the Water of Leith cycle path, which brings me to Colinton Tunnel. It is in the process of being brightened up with murals of various sorts. The main blip shows a colourful interpretation of the Water of Leith . Extra 2 shows almost inspirational quote.

I walk up to Colinton, get the bus back home for afternoon coffee and chocolate.
