Tyler's world of Legos!

Tyler is really obsessed with Legos, ever since receiving some from Aunt Stephanie on his 4th birthday. It started out as a small obsession, but he's recently discovered that he can follow the directions all by himself and create all sorts of masterpieces. There are plenty of things he wants help on, and if you are willing to help, by all means, he wants to have your company, but he is starting to build things on his own. Today, he collected all items previously built, and created a few new ones and set them out for display. He was very serious about the picture taking and if ever Mia or Kaia got too close to the photo shoot, he would promptly tell them to "GET OUT OF HERE!"

In this picture, there are a few different boats, an airplane, a little house/hut, a crab, an apple tree, to name a few!

We had a nice day at home, but did manage to venture out with three kiddos for a few errands today. It's a really crammed back seat but doable, so that is a real relief. The kids seemed to enjoy the excitement of having three people in the back and they were all very cooperative (besides the obsession with ringing the wind chimes in the toy store).

After rest time, we headed in to surprise Josh at his first ever coaching experience with basketball. It was not a pretty sight, but there is a lot of room for improvement. That's a good thing, right!?

We are gearing up for some more 24 (we're working on season 6 and we'll be all caught up) and probably more processing of the game tonight. and it's off to bed.
