Relaxed

Had a totally relaxing day today. Nice breakfast with C before she headed north and I went out to bring my babies home. We all had a nice lunch and a good blether when we got back. They had quite a lot of stuff to unpack and sort out in their rooms which meant I could sneak out and catch the last 2 hours of Spin Saturday at Once A Sheep which was a real treat.

Carlos went out early evening so the kids and I had scampi for tea and watched more Grey's Anatomy. I finished spinning my lovely secret Santa fibre this afternoon- a blend of Corriedale fleece and banana fibres, and I made good progress with my knitting tonight too. January is the month for finishing all those projects languishing in the knitting basket so task #1 for me is to finish Noah's socks, I completed the cuff and turned the heel on the second sock tonight so just the gusset and toe to go, then I will turn my attentions to the home spun shawl I started last year.
