Greyhound Awareness League

Walking down Buchanan Street after church this morning I met some wonderful dogs .... a group of rescued greyhounds. Such gentle dogs who were so happy to be petted and given a little treat.

The girl who owned the two in the extra photos told me that they were from the Greyhound Awareness League and this week they are trying to get more folk interested in the charity.

If I had a bigger house and a bigger settee I would love to have one of those quiet, gentle dogs who need less exercise than I do!
