Dahlia

I'm begining to appreciate dahlias. I've only every bought them for blipping and a season of flowering on the patio. I suppose I can't be bothered lifting them and storing them over the winter.

This is part of a bouquet I was allowed to make at my visit to a flower grower on Wednesday. It fascinated me the way some flowers have petals staying fairly flat while other varieties roll inwards or outwards.

A quick blip and no time for getting blips up on the day and commenting as I'm so pushed for time. Still hunting out images and editing for a project.
