Afternoon fun

The eldest went to school today, I wasn't sure if he would be up for it, but he practically bounced out of bed this morning.  

I worked from home this morning, so nice to get a little more in control in the quiet of home.  It really was just what I needed. 

Picked the boys up, rushed home to meet the plumber (waiting for us), who was lovely and we now have hot water. Hurrah. 

Then, to make the most of the beautiful weather, I painted the garden fence with the boys - the youngest also tried to paint himself (literally).  So it was bath time straight after painting. 

And to top off my really quite nice (if mundane day), four loads of washing and all the ironing done.  And this genuinely makes me happy.
