A walk up Kinoull hill

A lovely bright day

I watched the early morning World Cup rugby between the favourites, Ireland, and the hosts, Japan. An exciting match saw Japan win a famous victory - quite an upset.

In the afternoon we went for a walk up Kinnoull hill (723 feet). The last time we were there I needed to use the disability scooter but this time I was up for the challenge of tackling the steep path.

The view from the top is stunning - the River Tay meandering off towards Dundee. A deserved tea and scone awaited at the nearby Garden Centre.
