Happy anniversary #2 daughter and husband

I remembered to take a photo of a photo so that I could send daughter good wishes on their 8th wedding anniversary. It was an unseasonably hot day which was lovely and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We left London at 10 and got into the house at 5. The weather was very wet around M11 but as we got further north it improved.

Now we are about to have a G&T and be depressed by the news. At a service station we stopped at there was a booth with a woman giving out leaflets to lorry drivers about what to do on 1 November. I’m glad she knows because I don’t think anyone else, least of all our PM, has a clue.
