Diary of an Edinburgher

Coffee supply

Today we popped down to the Nespresso shop to pick up some more coffee pods (thanks, E). Also, JR had never been in to try some coffees, so she was keen. Archie came into town with us, but wasn’t allowed in the shop, so he and I stood outside while JR took her time to sip her coffee, chat with the friendly assistant before chosing a few flavours and coming out with a big bag full. A passing lady commented on how well behaved Archie was, sitting there patiently while I faffed around taking photo.

She then decided to have a bit of a browse around the shops (she can’t resist), so Archie and I came home, with a walk across the Meadows. A big fat rather large lady stepped on Archie's paw in the busy bus!

I watched some of the athletics in Doha in the afternoon, and JR eventually returned home with tales of being accosted and interviewed before she realised what was happening by a camera crew on Princes Street. And she was spotted on tonight’s news by Forthports. But of course, being a law-abiding blipper, he didn't take a photo of the tv screen...

All Blacks playing tomorrow...
