Cider making
Most of our apples fell to the ground and rotted, or got eaten by birds or insects without having had time to fall. But we did gather up some whilst they were still good (with help from Sarah, Ann, Michael). Today we washed and quartered them before mashing and pressing. Just 10 to 15 litres I reckon. Sugar and yeast now added and left in the garage which should be warm enough for a nice constant fermentation.
