Last of the Triffids

Last of the Triffids courgettes.  The leaves and stalks now dwarf the flowers and fruit and are lying down in anticipation of the "fin de saison". In keeping with the end of things, we had the pool winterised today, no more splashes and shouts of laughter until next year.  We got some gardening done during a sunny spell, mostly weeding and grass cutting and we went to Brive in the afternoon to collect materials for tiling around the new stove.  It was all very correct and mask wearing up there as the incidence of the CV19 is quite high in the department.  Duck and lentils for dinner and a nice Sarabelle blanc.
