...of too much red wine? No, just old age! Well over 20 years ago, when I took my turn at hosting parties for the Morris team, I bought 50 of these when a supermarket was selling off its ex-hire wine glasses. Now there are only 8 left.

But, yes, MrM and I indulged in a couple of glasses of red wine at the end of a busy weekend. Today he hung the door to the living room, and I put the first coat of blue paint on the shelf unit, among other things.

Ten days ago we passed through Stiffkey (pron. Stewkey) on the North Norfolk coast; the paint colour (Stiffkey Blue) is named after the beach there, where the mud, along with the cockles - and the sea, when the sun shines - share a particular deep navy hue.
