The Grass Is Always Greener

As calm as a millpond, with early morning mist, reflections and sunshine catching the trees, what more could you ask for?

The raw file was quite flat and I had to make careful adjustments to avoid losing the ethereal feeling of mist. I also had too much sky and cropped the top to bring more emphasis to the tree and its reflection. I think I should have allowed more space below the reflection to balance the image.

Unfortunately I couldn't avoid the overhanging tree, which is something of a distraction, even though it serves to show how soft everything else is in the frame.
