Spring cleaning!

JR has taken a notion for a bit of 'spring' cleaning! The walk-in cupboard is being re-organised, and drastic measures taken. What a lot of STUFF one accumulates. Archie and I scarpered off for a while. A bus ride, a (tepid) coffee at Cult, then a walk across the Meadows. It was warm and still. But as we came up the road home, we got caught in a fine misty rain, which wasn’t unpleasant.

I helped JR put a big heavy item right up across the top shelves, out of the way. She was all for lifting down the Christmas decorations, and I had to insist that she leave them there till December. Just because the Dome (a restaurant in town which does fabulous Christmas decorations) has theirs up already...

I had a ripping time in the evening by sorting through paperwork and getting rid of unwanted years-old statements, ancient bills and now-irrelevant official stuff. More to do tomorrow.
