Teign valley view
It was a lovely day for the walk I was leading around Castle Drogo and up to Cranbrook Castle. Knowing that several people were away and that Rugby matches were on it was a comfortable sized group (10) of us that set off from the top of the hill. We soon stopped to admire the views looking down on the valley below and across to the hills of Dartmoor. Yesterday it was raining heavily as we set off to recee the walk and it was so nice to see these views today, see extra.
It was an easier walk today, the weather seems to make such a difference. Todays blip was taken as we walked back down from Cranbrook Castle and you can just make out Castle Drogo, now without the scaffolding around it, in the distance.
Tea and cakes were enjoyed in the tearoom afterwards.
