Off we went to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve with packed lunch, flask of coffee, camera and binoculars. What we really needed was wellies.

We got part of the way along the reserve paths before we encountered water and turned back.  Due to high tides according to one of the volunteers.

We did see a robin, a wren and a goldfinch. The bearded tits had been around earlier and some keen bird spotters and photographers were patiently waiting with cameras/scopes ready.

In extras another robin in the car park with a suet pellet in it's beak.
