Purple

The purple of these turnips is quite stunning.  I have lots of them growing at my allotment and we've been using them in vegetable stews and soup.

It was a busy weekend as on Saturday I attended an aromatherapy course.  It was excellent and is definitely something I would like to learn more about and to try at home some more.  On Sunday I followed it up with an introductory course on body massage.  Again it was an interesting day but some of the techniques were quite difficult to do.  The courses took place in a lovely wooden hall in the woods.  The venue and location were tranquil and beautiful and very well suited to the course topics. 

Today I've worked from home and been able to get out for a few short walks.  We had our first proper frost of the autumn this morning.
