Today's the day ..................… to sow a seed

We have a new area in the garden that Will is just about to sow with a 'wild flower meadow' seed mix - and hopefully we will enjoy the results next year.

This plant is one that he sowed earlier this year in another part of the garden and it is now in flower.  Nigella damascena  - or Love-in-a-mist  belongs to the buttercup family and has a tangle of ferny, fennel-like foliage that forms a mist around the flowers.

Hopefully, it will spread itself around and appear again next year ……………..
