When is the Next One?

A working day for me (Chris) in London. Annie flew early into Heathrow this morning after her weekend in Zurich to attend a work related event in the city too. 

Post work, we met at Liverpool Street intending to get the underground towards home but issues on the Metropolitan Line meant the platforms were completely rammed full of commuters. We tried the Central Line too but that was also crazily busy. Rather than join the masses, we stopped, got some food and 45 minutes later we set off again. 

All was much easier at the second try until we switched trains. The train we tried to join was so full Annie squeezed on but I couldn't! It was one of those comedy moments as the doors closed and I watched the train leave with Annie waving from the window! 

20 minutes later I was on the next train. We re-grouped at Amersham to get the car home.
