At the Blue Wall trail

The ladies hiking group met today to hike a portion of the Blue Wall Passage of the Palmetto Trail which is in the mountains of South Carolina.   We had a wonderful walk in cold/cool temps and fabulous fall colors.      This was the pond/lake that we came upon as we entered the main part of the hike.  We went to the left of this site and walked all the way around the pond on the hill behind that you see.    The leaf color was amazing.   

I have way too many photos and could not decided what to share but I think this one tells the story of what we were seeing!     Not a particularly long or hard hike but great to be in the forest!
