Remembrance Sunday
We spent the morning doing the weekly shop, doing a bit of gardening and stacking the first log delivery of winter.
This afternoon we walked up to the High Street for the Remembrance Sunday parade. The main blip is of one of the ceramic poppies in the garden of remembrance. I was attracted by the simplicity of the dedication on the little wooden cross 'Dad and his friend Arthur' and wondered what story lay behind it.
The extra is of the parade itself, led by our friend, fellow Yeovil fan and member of our occasional away game gang, Steve, in his role as leader of the local marching band.
