Water, water...

Torrential rain overnight and bursts of it throughout the day.   

With an election on , the usual ministerial workload, surgeries on going and the indispensable Marie Claire off ill  (get well soon...) sooner or later I knew I would have to spend a day clearing off as much constituency work as I could.

Plus it is Cathleen's birthday and she is just back from the European Rural Parliament in Spain. 

So today was mostly head down time , but at least it was at home. And 
the weather meant I wasn't missing much else.
