Fabulous flowers

Week 7 begins with a day of bus journeys, my first of the holiday if I recall correctly. I was enjoying watching the landscape pass by, changing little by little but it soon became predominantly palm oil plantations which was a bit monotonous and depressing. Anyway finally arrived in Satun for a quick overnight stop before a day of boat journeys tomorrow.
Ventured to the night market looking for some dinner but had no idea what most of the offerings were and it was all a bit busy and hot. Instead I headed to the local 7 to 11 for a cheese and ham toasted sandwich and other, almost familiar snacks and went back to the hotel to indulge in an episode of ‘his dark materials‘. Dom kindly set up a vpn on my phone last night so I am now able to watch the bbc. Despite the tiny screen it was a bit of a treat.
