Beyond the Town

A trip to Kirkby Lonsdale.

A grey day, but amazingly - considering the forecast for most places - no rain.

The little town prides itself justifiably on its range of independent shops. No empty units, which seems like a miracle in 2019.

A short walk to start with to the Devils Bridge and then along the Lune and up the Radical Steps to Ruskin View (extra) and the parish church.

Lunch at the bakery. And a bit of shopping.

All very pleasant for the greyest of November days.
