Sunday: Modernism

We are very taken with Palm Springs, particularly the modernist architecture, which is what it is famous for.

Our accommodation has free bikes to use so we took a couple out this morning and cycled round the best neighbourhoods for modernist architecture.  The houses here are just fabulous, each one more characterful than the one before.

It turned out to be a pretty hot day so we spent a good part of it at the pool.

Our accommodation also does complimentary cocktail hour so once we had enjoyed that, we headed out for drinks and a great Vietnamese meal at ‘The Rooster And The Pig’.
