Heartsease

After listening to an old chum on the radio we headed up to the allotment in a light drizzle. D fed the birds who had emptied the feeder and almost finished the fat balls. I was charmed to see the reappearance of the resident mouse who formerly lived amongst a heap of paving stones but now appears to have made a palace under a discarded perspex window pane. It has a straight run along a kerb edging the back border to a spot directly underneath the bird feeder where they drop lots of the seed. It must be mouse heaven. S/he dashed in and out a couple of times but I wasn't quick enough with the camera.

So I found a stationary heartsease lurking under some old pea vines that I've yet to dig up. Looks like there's a bit of ruby chard I forgot about too.
