Family photo shoot

Today, we got invited to lunch by friends Gladson and Susan. We arrived with them for 12:30 and didn't leave until several hours later! There was non-stop chatting and then, as I had taken my "proper" camera, I offered to take some family pictures for posterity. Two of their children had arrived from Bombay just yesterday, so it was a real treat to see the whole family, and their gorgeous dog, Luna.

And then just as we got home, there was a knock on the door. A group of carol singers (yes, here in Dubai), wanted to sing for us. They'd been before so must have made a note of our flat. I guess with that and the Advent calendar that Diane gave us, Christmas has arrived in our house. Now I just need to get a poinsettia. :)

December tomorrow. Yikes!
