Breakfast companions

Early to bed, early to rise. Must be true because we found ourselves both wide awake at half past two this morning with Leila still chuckling about the state of her fellow passengers on yesterday’s ferry. Spent the small hours out on the balcony, drinking cups of tea, telling our tales and listening to the sounds of the night. As the first hints of dawn approached we filled the time until breakfast on the beach with some entertaining dogs, a quick dip in the sea and a bit of providing breakfast for the local mosquito population.
Whiled away the morning with massages and other such stuff and the resetting of body clocks continued with an afternoon siesta.
This evening we went for a stroll to the main area around the pier, still all quiet on that western front so think we will be enjoying more peace and tranquility while we are here.
