Castle Fraser and Me

The last full day of our stay in the North East of Scotland. We visited Castle Fraser, a National Trust for Scotland Property.

The weather was wet and despite the paucity of road signs  we found our way to Castle Fraser courtesy of Apple Maps.

We were the only two for the 1:00 p.m, guided tour and we were given a delightful tour courtesy of Ann Marie. 

Light levels in Castle Fraser are low, the many circular staircases in turrets are a challenge and great fun. The view from the roof is breathtaking.

Apple Maps guided us back safely in time to see the semifinals of Strictly.
