Frame Job
25F. Still cold, but the sun is shining...so out I went. A trip to the river...a trip to the grocery store...and a trek in the forest.
I had the forest all to myself except when I turned on my phone. I put on my music, and placed it into the hood of my sweatshirt. Then...it was me and Simon and Garfunkel (I told Garfunkel to get a haircut.) Then...it was me and John Denver (Fly a plane with an engine...John.) Then it was me and Randy Travis (Poor Randy...lay off the booze, and get some clothes on!) Finally...it was me and Mr. Handel (The pine trees rattled as I bellowed out...HALLELUJAH...HALLELUJAH...KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS...FOREVER AND EVER.....A-M-E-N.)
I am turning into my mother (may she rest in peace.) Mom used to go to the grocery store every day. She wouldn't buy much, but she would still go daily. I used to think it was because...with 6 kids...everything in sight would be eaten. But...I think she just liked to get out.
45 minutes until I put supper in. Roast chicken...broccoli...and cooked carrots. Trying to have a night without potatoes...unfortunately...my favorite.
